Students, it has been brought to our attention that we have multiple students passing stopped school buses on their way to school. The majority of the occurrences are happening on Fort Street where there is a shared left turn lane dividing the two traffic lanes. This roadway is a two way roadway which means vehicles from all directions must stop for the buses when their red lights and stop signs are extended. The buses are equipped with cameras on the outside to turn in any violators if this issue still continues. These laws are in place for student safety, please review the laws on this link. https://www.isbe.net/Documents/bus_safety_motorist.pdf
