🎨 FCES Art in the Community 🎨
If you have been to the Farmington Public Library, lately, you may have seen some FCES works of art. The FPL put up artwork that our 3rd-5th grade students have been working on in our new Art Class. Make sure to check out these master pieces! While you're there, check out all the summer programs the library is putting on, including the Summer Reading Program!
*A BIG thank you to Mrs. Hursey, the FPL, the School Improvement Team, & Mrs. Franzoni for making this happen!

Mrs. Stockham was named the 2024 Helen Farmer Haggerty Award Winner! The award is presented yearly to a teacher, chosen by vote of the faculty, as someone who represents the same dedication to her profession, and the ability to encourage the best effort from her students, as did Helen Farmer Haggerty. The winner is able to choose a student from her classroom who shows growth and potential for the future. Novah Warner was our student award winner. Congratulations to both of our winners!

Due to the weather, we will be moving the boys baseball regional game this afternoon to Fieldcrest for a 4:30 PM start time. The address to the field is 102 W. Elm St. Wenona, IL 61377.

WE did it!!! And I mean it when I say "WE!" The IESA sectional was a lot, but I think it went as well as it could have! Too many people to thank individually, but I hope you all know just how much I appreciate you! It couldn't have happened without your help and I am grateful!

IPA Student Recognition Breakfast
5th grader Farmers, Logan Layer & Quintin Rose, were honored at the IPA Student Recognition Breakfast. The event, held in Washington, recognizes students who represent academic and leadership excellence. These two students definitely fit the mold for "Building Leaders" at FCES!
